What is a cold air fan? 

A traditional cold air fan does not cool down the air temperature but uses the air around it to create a cooling effect with the help of airflow, which is perceived as cooling. But if you want to cool down the air from the fan eve more, you can place the fan near an open window to draw in the outside air or place a bowl of cold water or ice, for example, in front of the fan. Then the fan spreads the cooled air from the bowl around the room. You can also place the fan close to the floor as it is often slightly cooler there.

Tower fans 

Tower fans are ideal in smaller rooms or when you want a discreet fan. They are called tower fans because they are shaped like a tower. They often have oscillation control, which means that the airflow can be angled sideways in a sweeping motion.

One of the most common functions of cold air fans is oscillation: do you want the fan to sweep the air across the room or do you want the airflow to be concentrated in a specific location? Most cold air fans also allow you to set different oscillation patterns and speeds. In addition to these common functions, it is also possible to find fans with a timer function and a remote control. If you are going to use the fan temporarily, it’s a good idea to get a fan that is easy to move. Therefore, look at the size, weight, and cord length.

Why do fans make noise?
