Wall and Grouting Paint
With Biltema’s Wall and Grouting Paint, you can paint on outdoor mineral surfaces on exteriors and foundation walls, as well as on water-exposed walls and ceilings indoors, such as in a basement.
Our Wall and Grouting Paint has excellent coverage, which means fewer coats are needed. Too many coats of paint can negatively affect diffusion.
Biltema’s Masonry and Plaster paints are water-repellent and very breathable, which allows salts to penetrate the paint, thereby reducing the risk of frost cracks and the accumulation of salts under the paint.
How to apply Wall and Grouting Paint
Before you start painting, the surface must be cleaned, washed and rinsed with water. The surface must be clean, dry and firm. If you have old ‘plastic paint’ on the surface, you must scrape this off using a wire brush, or blast it off. Once it’s time to start painting, do so with a roller or brush. You can also use a spray gun if you dilute the paint.
Prime with Wall and Grouting Primer
Before applying the paint, you need to prime with Masonry and Plaster Primer, even if you are working on a previously painted surface. Biltema’s Masonry and Plaster Primer product is also suitable as an exterior impregnator on brick as well as a dust-binder and bonding primer on concrete flooring.
